Jack Burton is a co-founder and Principal of BSP. Specializing in broadband access technologies, Mr. Burton has a wide range of technical expertise across a diverse range of telecommunications technologies. Jack held senior engineering positions at Altice, Cablevision, and Lightpath. He has also worked at Viacom/MTV Networks, Tribune/United Cable and Warner Amex Cable. Mr. Burton was Chairman of the CableLabs PacketCable Certification Board from 2011 to 2017. He authored a quarterly column for Broadband Library magazine.

David Strauss is a co-founder and Principal of BSP. David has a proven track record launching and growing B2B telecommunications and technology businesses. Mr. Strauss held senior marketing positions at Lightpath, IBM, Sprint and AT&T. At Juniper Networks, he was the cable business development leader. Mr. Strauss had a long-term consulting engagement at Comcast Business – having designed and executed the original go-to-market plan for their Metro Ethernet services.

Jay Rolls is the Chief Technology Officer of BSP. Mr. Rolls was the SVP & Chief Technology Officer of Charter Communications from 2011 to 2019. Previously, he served in a variety of roles during 13 years at Cox Communications including SVP of Technology. He was also an executive at Excite@Home, Pacific Broadband, Alcatel and BBN (now part of Level3/Lumen). Mr. Rolls has 25 years of telecom experience. Randy Kinsey is a Project Director of BSP. He was Group VP of Network Engineering & Architecture at Charter, Executive Director of Networking Engineering & Architecture at Cox, and VP of Advanced Engineering at Point Broadband. Mr. Kinsey is also a data center expert – having led the design, construction, and operation of Charter’s 100,000 sq ft engineering facility which includes a 25,000 sq ft data center built, maintained, and operated as a production environment.

Misty Duckworth is a Project Director at BSP. Ms. Duckworth has 25 years of experience. She directed Engineering and Network Operations initiatives at Charter and developed Ting Internet’s Enterprise and MxU (FTTU/FTTP) Program. Ms. Duckworth is also data center expert – having led the operations of financial services and telecom data centers.

Rick Guerrero is a Project Director at BSP. As a leader at Cox Communications, Mr. Guerrero directed fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) projects, including an xPON overbuild in Phoenix, AZ. He also redefined major metro rebuilds with a focus on capital management and standards adherence, while also leading significant product and technology launches.

Jeffrey Burgan is a Project Director at BSP. He has over 30 years of service provider experience. Mr. Burgan joins us after 12 years at Google where he led Google Fiber’s network engineering, operations & deployments. He was also responsible for various wireless initiatives including LinkNYC. Mr. Burgan was also an executive at M2Z Networks and Excite@Home.

Tom Drouillard is a Project Director at BSP. Throughout his career, he has been focused on the full lifecycle of the data center. From architectural design at Cologix, Blackberry and Intel to data center risk auditing at Canadian banks and Infrastructure Ontario (CBRE), Mr. Drouillard has led complex projects to ensure operational resilience in high-density environments.

Rob Moser is a Project Director at BSP. He has over 30 years of experience building, scaling, and advising data centers and other technology companies. Mr. Moser was Co-founder, President and COO of Immedion, a data center and cloud infrastructure provider in seven markets. When DartPoints acquired Immedion, Mr. Moser was COO and led integration of new facilities into a unified operational model.

Joachim Sonne is a Senior Advisor at BSP. He has over 20 years’ experience in Investment Banking. Until September 2019, Mr. Sonne served as Managing Director and Co-Head of the EMEA Telecom, Media and Technology Advisory Group at J.P. Morgan in London. In addition to his BSP role, he is a Non-Executive Director at Proximus SA and a Senior Advisor and Board Advisor to financial and technology companies.
